Bolt Action: Australian Jungle Division Infantry Section
In early 1943, the Australian Jungle Division was formed out of the reorganization of the Australian Armys militia and Imperial Force divisions.
These new Jungle Divisions, were lighter and were equipped with short-ranged SMGs. The lack of roads or open terrain caused transport and anti-aircraft units to be reassigned to the rifle platoons. The number of field engineers were also doubled to overcome the thousands of rivers needing to be crossed and to deal with Japanese booby traps.
