The Landwehr were militia formed from teenagers through to men in their forties. They were plucked from their fields, shops and offices and enrolled into the Prussian military machine to enlarge the forces that could finally defeat Napoleon, the Tyrant of Europe.
The Prussian Landwehr Regiments, though Ill-equipped and half-trained, seen many month of hard fighting. With Steel hard determination, they went on to join their brothers in arms as the Prussian Army marched on to face the French forces of Napoleon Bonaparte
