Bolt Action: US Airborne Jeep (1944-45)
The US Jeep was the vehicle that could "go-anywhere!"
In June 1940, the four-wheel drive Willys MB and the Ford GPW Jeeps were developed for the United States Army. Well suited to a variety of roles, it was primarily used for reconnaissance and liaison duties. It was even used during airborne landings. By the end of the war, some 630,000 jeeps were produced.
